• Your True Self Stands Apart

One remarkable quality of the true self is its absence of an agenda. Unlike other selves that are driven by desires, impulses, societal duties, and the need for security, the true self remains detached.

Our everyday life revolves around fulfilling these agendas—whether it’s desires, duties, or coping with our past conditioning and memories accumulated since childhood. This creates a complex, unique self-system for each individual. Yet, amidst this complexity, the true self stands distinctly apart.

The true self does not engage in the day-to-day narrative of “I, me, mine.” It remains untouched by old conditioning, habits, fears, or desires. Its detachment from these constructs is why higher consciousness is often referred to as liberation—a state of freedom from the dualities of pleasure and pain, duty and desire, or fulfillment and frustration.

      Freedom from Duality

The other selves exist in a world of opposites, constantly swinging like a pendulum between extremes. This duality is the nature of life. However, the true self introduces you to another way of living. Through deep inner work, the hold of these other selves begins to loosen, and the pendulum swings less frequently.

      Settling in Pure Consciousness

The source of the mind is pure consciousness. Once you settle into this state, your identification naturally aligns with the true self. The journey to pure consciousness unfolds in shades—glimpses of the true self deepen, becoming more frequent and lasting. This evolution is a gradual process for most people, requiring time to firmly establish oneself in this state.
