For the past few weeks, I’ve been under a lot of stress. I can feel how deeply it is affecting me, both physically and mentally. My appetite has gone down, my concentration is weak, and my mind keeps running into overthinking. I often feel tired, irritated, and even struggle to communicate properly. It’s like stress is slowly draining my energy and balance.

Stress is no longer a rare condition; it has become a part of modern living. While short-term stress can sharpen focus and prepare the body for challenges, sustained high stress levels disrupt both mental and physical health.

The good thing is that awareness is the first step — I already see how stress is affecting balance. Now, gentle steps which help me :

    • Mindfulness and Meditation: Proven to reduce cortisol and improve emotional regulation.

    • Physical Activity: Regular exercise lowers stress hormones and enhances endorphin release.

    • Balanced Nutrition: Diets rich in whole grains, fruits, vegetables, and omega-3 fatty acids support stress resilience.

    • Adequate Sleep: Restorative sleep is essential for resetting the nervous system.

    • Relaxation Techniques: Deep breathing, progressive muscle relaxation, and yoga reduce physiological stress responses.

    • Small Breaks: Short walks or stretching between long hour work
